Calcium Hyaluronate (HA-Ca) Introduction
Calcium Hyaluronate (HA-Ca) enhances the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness. It is obtained by ion exchange and hydrolysis of sodium hyaluronate.
Calcium ions play an important role in regulating the normal division and differentiation of skin epidermal cells, sebum protein synthesis, and maintaining skin barrier function. Calcium deficiency in the skin can easily cause a series of skin problems. For example, the surface layer of the skin will become dry, sagging, and lose luster and elasticity. Medical research has found that as we age, the loss of calcium ions accelerates, thereby exacerbating skin aging problems. When a person is 13-19 years old, the epidermal layer of facial skin contains the most calcium ions. By the age of 20, the calcium ions contained in facial skin begin to decrease, and the distribution changes accordingly.
